Windows 10 will not boot after clone free
Cannot Boot to Windows 10 on Newly Cloned SSD – Stuck in Infinite – Microsoft Community
I have tried two Clone Software but both have the same problem. The drive clones fine and all the files appear to be present, but Windows 10 won’t boot. It is so strange and annoying. Is there anyone who can help me and make my cloned SSD bootable? Therefore, it is no strange that more and more Windows users are trying to upgrade their old HDD to SSD so as to get a better performance.
Unfortunately, quite a few users had very negative feedback on the clone result. They claimed that they had a big problem: the cloned drive not booting. Do you encounter the same problem of SSD not booting after clone? If yes, you must be very eager to know how to deal with it.

I’ve already formatted and recreated the EFI system partition. I have no idea why it’s failing to restore the component store on another PC!
I gave you the tutorial to rebuild EFI System because the Command you said you ran is not sufficient – it requires an entire process. I have the same question 1.

I explained that the Boot Corrector on their rescue media flash stick you can make off the app will fix any disk problems. I gave you tutorials on creating and using the flash stick to correct boot problems.
Can you boot into Macrium and take a picture of the drive map showing all partitions listings to post back? Then run the Boot Corrector as shown in my first post which is like Startup Repair on steroids and has successfully corrected the few boot problems I’ve ever seen with Macrium.
That’s strange. It is booted into your old Samsung C drive but using the System Reserved partition on the Sandisk drive to boot it. How do we know this? Because the System label on the Sandisk System Reserved only appears because it is the partition booting C, and C is always the booted Windows drive.
This is likely due to Samsung remaining plugged in. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance. I’ve summarized some common reasons here:.
